Q: Hi Annette! Thanks for taking time to talk with us. Can we start with who is The Company of Animals? 

A: At The Company of Animals we are passionate about creating behavior enhancing products to improve the relationship between people and their dogs.  Our pioneering approach is founded on a strong belief that most dog owning challenges can be prevented if owners have access to the right training products and advice.   Our innovative brands such as Halti, Clix, Baskerville and Pet Corrector are now sold in over 50 countries around the world.

Q: What type of products do you sell?

A: We sell Behavior and Training products and Pet Head Shampoo

Q:What is your most unique or signature product?

A: Pet Corrector is our most signature product that we sell.

Q: What purpose does it serve? 

A: The purpose of the Pet Corrector is to gain the dog’s attention in the instant they are exhibiting an unwanted behavior. When the Pet Corrector emits a hissing sound, the dog is distracted and the owner can then insert a positive command and reward. 

Q: Who needs this product?

A: The Pet Corrector is for anyone that needs help with changing dogs’ negative behaviors. The Pet Corrector can help with the following issues, barking, jumping up, chasing, and house manners.

Q: What is the best way to display your products in a retail store?

A: In a specific designated Training and Behavior set.

Q:Does your company do anything in particular to help independent brick and mortar stores compete with e-commerce?

A: We apply an IMAP policy that helps the independent stores be competitive with the e-commerce sites.

Q:  What cross-selling advice do you have for a dealer? 

A: For instance, if you see a customer purchasing any new puppy items, the retail associate should ask if he or she currently has a treat bag and clicker for helping train his or her ne w little one, and then present the customer with any low calorie tasty treat.
